This session will delve into strategies and best practices for ensuring equity for English Language Learners (ELLs) across various learning environments, be it in-person, hybrid, or remote settings. This session will focus on the role of data in designing and facilitating learning experiences that are accessible, inclusive, and equitable. Participants will explore and apply strategies for collecting pre-assessment data to understand where students are beginning in relation to concepts and skills. They will also explore strategies they can use to collect formative assessment data during the lesson that they can use to differentiate subsequent lessons effectively. Participants will learn how they can effectively differentiate content, process, and product.

Students must be actively engaged in thinking about, monitoring, evaluating, and reflecting on their learning.
